Went for a hike, but ended up mountain biking up Schmidt Lane with slick tires.

Wow. I don’t know why, but it was really weird hearing your voice for the first time. It was totally unexpected. I think I just had an experience similar to Thomas Watson when Alexander Bell told him to “get over here” through the telephone receiver. Well, maybe not exactly…
Glad to hear someone else talking about physical exertion clearing the mind. My days are markedly better on exercise days and when I miss it really does hurt.
Thirteen days to the triathlon!
Gotta admit, it’s a bit weird to hear my own voice online! I was wondering after posting that why audioblogging hasn’t really taken off, then I realized why – when typing, you can compose your thoughts, edit, get it just right before posting. But with audio, the only way to change things is to re-record the whole thing before posting, which can make it a tedious process if you want there to be any kind of quality. Very few people can be extemporaneous and have it work out the first time. In other words, the spontaneity is cool, but with that spontaneity comes a natural reduction in the quality of the content. It’s more rambling. Anyway, it’s a cool tool I’ll use occasionally.
Still can’t believe you’re doing a triathlon – that’s incredible. Best of luck, and let us know how it goes!
