I asked my just-turned-15 year old daughter the same question above asking her how she would answer on stage: “Reports indicate 1 in 5 Americans cannot identify the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is?” She thought for a second and asked, “Americans would include babies and little kids, wouldn’t it?”

I think this is an example of irony (which is always hard for me to define.) While it isn’t the best parody I’ve seen, she is at least a YouTubically clever Canadian Canadian.
well she is probably one of the smartest people in the sense that she distinguished and was specific as to what americans she was talkign about- since anyone in america (or the americas) is technically american. thus U.S American is an american person from the U.S as opposed to Chile etc.
