Hoo boy. Remember as you’re watching: Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) is not just some random doddering boob — he’s the head of the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, which regulates the internets.
More fun with Stevens at ChezLark.

You of course, did see the Daily Show’s sequel to this piece, where John Hodgman (the PC guy on the Mac vs. PC commercials) elaborates on Ted Steven’s ramblings, didn’t you?

LOL. I’m ready for “pneu-mail” any time now.
O.K. ——- I almost peed my pants watching this one. Best part? The diagram showing the horse maneuvering through the tube with the heading “The Internets.” And, of course, Ted Stevens saying that “an internet” “got sent” to him early in the the a.m. and he didn’t get said “internet” until, like, almost ten that night. You know, because pesky slackin’ off white collar employees have slowed the american workforce productivity to a near standstill sending each other hilarious YouTube “internets” back and forth all day long.
Thanks for making my day, Scot.
Monkey want!
Ooof! Me too.
