Google Earth for Mac

Skipping commentary on today’s righteous MacWorld announcements, but this is probably drowning in the noise: Google Earth is finally available for the Mac. And they’ve done a killer job with it. For severely directionally challenged knuckleheads like me, it’s one of the best spatial visualization tools available.

  1. Wow. Thanks for the tip on this. What a program. What a world. There we all are in our magnificent insignificance. Another tool perhaps to bring us to a much needed sense of global interdependence.

  2. Hi All Experts,
Does anyone use google earth images as ground image planes for use in aerial scenes. I know how to stitch them together but are there any tools or tricks to make sure that the images are at the same height, angle and such to make sure they stitch well. I know in the pro version you can get bigger images but im not going to pay for the pro version when i could stitch multiple images together…
