Once upon a time I thought the SubGenius would change my life. Now it just makes me dizzy. In a weird way, SubGenius is like the Flying Spaghetti Monster actually writ large into a “full-on” religion.
Have you ever read Ivan Stang’s book “High Weirdness by Mail”?
I’ve got it here at home — got it in the late ’80s, and it’s still one of the prizes in my book collection.
For that matter, have you ever heard of or read Ted Schultz’s “The Fringes of Reason”, also from the late ’80s? It’s a marvel of critical thinking.
You know, I don’t think I ever managed to pick that one up, though I remember it’s name floating around in the SubGenii world around then. “The Fringe of Reason” sounds great, thanks for the tip.
